How Tructyre is Developing Future Technicians

Our Supported Development Programme is a gateway for fresh talent, offering the essential training needed to succeed in the industry. The journey begins with a two-week intensive introduction based at one of our bespoke training locations covering:

• Company Overview – A deep dive into Tructyre’s mission, values, and industry.

• Tyre Legislation – Understanding the key regulations that govern tyre safety and maintenance.

• Practical Skills – Gaining hands-on experience in tyre fitting and repairs.

• Vehicle Knowledge – Learning about different vehicle types and their specific tyre requirements.

But training doesn’t stop there! Following the initial two-week course, Trainees continue developing their skills by working alongside experienced colleagues for up to 12 weeks. This hands-on learning phase allows them to build confidence and expertise before working on their own portfolio of vehicles. Those who excel and demonstrate strong capabilities will have the opportunity to achieve their REACT qualification, enabling them to work roadside and become fully qualified Commercial Tyre Technicians.

Learning from the Best: Hands-On Experience

We believe that practical experience is key to mastering the trade. That’s why our Trainees receive on-the-job training at their designated Depot, learning from experienced Technicians in real working conditions. Key areas of focus include:

• Tyre Repairs and Management – Mastering the best practices for maintaining and repairing commercial tyres.

• Vehicle Operations – Understanding how to efficiently work with various commercial vehicles.

• Life-Saving Rules – Prioritising safety in every aspect of the job.
