Sharing my knowledge, empowering new starters, and guiding them to become qualified tyre technicians has been immensely rewarding.
I began my journey with Tructyre in 2017 as a trainee, starting with no knowledge of tyres. Within three months, Tructyre invested in my development by sending me to Michelin for a five-day course. This training gave me a licence to fit qualification and roadside recovery certification, officially marking me as a professional tyre technician.
As a technician at the Heathrow depot, I handled fleet inspections, maintenance, and emergency roadside assistance, helping customers get back on the road quickly and safely. In 2020, I was promoted to depot supervisor, taking on management of one of the busiest depots west of London while continuing my technician duties. During this time, Tructyre’s integration with Euromaster strengthened my focus on health and safety, and I developed a passion for mentoring new starters and sharing best practices.
At the end of 2023, I stepped into my current role as Technical Trainer. This has allowed me to combine my industry experience with my love for teaching, supporting new technicians, and empowering them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. While I enjoyed depot life, I’ve found true fulfilment in training and helping others grow.
My time at Tructyre has been a journey of growth, learning, and opportunity, and I’m proud to be part of a company that values development, safety, and teamwork as much as I do.

"Tructyre allows me to have a good work life balance, whilst also giving me the opportunity to explore all sides within our business."
Having started my career with ATS Euromaster as a Trainee Tyre Fitter I have held a number of roles, such as Commercial Tyre Fitter, Assistant Manager and then Centre Manager of a large truck centre, giving me the knowledge and experience within our industry. This has been supported by both internal and external training from industry leading teams. From Centre Manager, I made the move into Sales and joined the team as an Area Sales Manager in 2012 initially with ATS Euromaster, and then latterly Tructyre, covering the central Midlands area. This has given me a greater view of the Company and industry in general. Having been elected as a member of our Employee Communication Forum, this has allowed me to make a difference to not only my work environment, but to my colleagues across the wider business functions. The Company has encouraged and allowed me to develop skills and experiences I have to better manage customer expectations to deliver our industry leading offer. Tructyre allows me to have a good work life balance, whilst also giving me the opportunity to explore all sides within our business.

My whole journey, I think, really demonstrates how much the Euromaster group and Tructyre are committed to their people
For me, my 34 years with the Euromaster group is the perfect example of how hard work, dedication, and sticking with it really pays off.
I started my professional journey at the ripe old age of 16, jumping straight into a trainee role at Ats Euromaster. The company invested in me right from the start, giving me a solid training plan that helped me quickly qualify as a technician. Since then, I've had a brilliant run, moving through a lot of different roles: Point of Sales Technician, Commercial On-Call Technician, Assistant Manager, and Depot Manager. Eventually, I left the success of a well-established depot and stepped up to a bigger challenge as the Regional Fleet Service Manager.
Then came 2019 and the transition to Tructyre. Taking on the Regional Manager in the South role was a real eye-opener, to say the least! But with great support and guidance from the key stakeholders, it turned into a position I thoroughly enjoy. I'm still incredibly proud to work for this company and have the pleasure of leading an amazing team who are just as committed and dedicated as I am.
Honestly, my biggest satisfaction comes from helping others: I love getting the opportunity to develop my team, mentor them, and help them progress to be the best version of themselves.
My whole journey, I think, really demonstrates how much the Euromaster group and Tructyre are committed to their people, believing in staff development and promoting from within. Here's to another 17 enjoyable and successful years!

I embarked on a new chapter in my career at Tructyre, joining as a Trainee in February 2023. Transitioning from a 17-year military career and truck driving background to becoming a fully qualified Commercial Technician on the road was initially daunting. It was a role I hadn't considered before, but today, I can confidently say it's one I love.
What sets Tructyre apart is the dynamic nature of the job. Every day brings new challenges and experiences, making each day on the road unique and exciting.
Tructyre didn't just hire me; they invested in my transformation. From mentoring to shadowing, the company provided comprehensive training, supporting me in obtaining a Licence to Fit and completing a roadside training course. This commitment to training has been instrumental in my journey to becoming a fully qualified Technician.
I'm proud to be a part of Tructyre—a company that not only values its employees but actively invests in their success. If you're considering a career change, take it from me: Tructyre is the place to be.

In my one year at Tructyre as a Technician, I've found great satisfaction in a role that keeps me on the road, free from the confines of a stationary workspace. It's not just a job; it's a journey that allows me to explore different places and connect with a diverse range of people.
What makes Tructyre truly special is the sense of community within the team. It's more than just colleagues; it's a supportive group. We're there for each other, working together seamlessly like a well-knit community. This camaraderie adds an extra layer of satisfaction to my work, turning it into more than just a job but a shared experience with a team.
The management at Tructyre has been a key factor in my positive experience. It's refreshing to work in an environment where management is not only good but fair—where your efforts are recognised and appreciated.
I'm proud to be part of Tructyre, where the open road is my office, management is fair, and my team feels like a second home. It's a workplace that values both the journey and the destination.

Working at Tructyre has been an incredible journey of growth both personally and professionally.
What I value most about my time here is witnessing the depot's development and the development of myself and the team as a result.
One of the standout aspects of Tructyre is the commitment to open, transparent, and two-way communication across all levels. This philosophy fosters an environment where the team's feedback is not only welcomed but actively sought after. I've seen firsthand how our collective input has led to positive changes, making our workplace more dynamic and responsive.
One of the remarkable aspects of my journey here has been the opportunities for career progression. I initially joined as a Technician and, over the last three years, have climbed the ranks to become a supervisor and now the depot manager. Tructyre's commitment to recognising and nurturing talent has allowed me to realise my potential and take on increasingly challenging roles.
